1. Back to the Future ( 1985 )

Back to the Future is a 1985 American science fiction film directed by Robert Zemeckis, and written by Zemeckis and Bob Gale. It stars Michael J. Set in 1985, the story follows Marty McFly (Fox), a teenager accidentally sent back to 1955 in a time-traveling DeLorean automobile built by his eccentric scientist friend Emmett “Doc” Brown (Lloyd). The manga was first serialized in December 1969, with its 1,345 individual chapters compiled into 45 tankōbon volumes and published by Shogakukan from 1970 to 1996. The story revolves around an earless robotic cat named Doraemon, who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a boy named Nobita Nobi.

12 Monkeys is a 1995 American science fiction film directed by Terry Gilliam, inspired by Chris Marker’s 1962 short film La Jetée, starring Bruce Willis, Madeleine Stowe, and Brad Pitt, with Christopher Plummer and David Morse in supporting roles. After Universal Studios acquired the rights to remake La Jetée as a full-length film, David and Janet’s Peoples were hired to write the script.

Under Gilliam’s direction, Universal granted the filmmakers a $29.5 million budget, and filming lasted from February to May 1995. The film was shot mainly in Philadelphia and Baltimore, where the story was set.

The film was released to critical praise and grossed $168.8 million worldwide. Pitt was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, winning a Golden Globe Award for his performance. The film was also nominated for various categories at the Saturn Awards.

Someday or One Day (Chinese: 想見你; pinyin: Xiǎngjiàn Nǐ; lit. ‘Want to See You’) is a Taiwanese TV drama released in 2019 and directed by Huang Tien-Jen (黃天仁).

The Call (Call on the poster) (Korean: 콜; RR: Kol), is a 2020 South Korean thriller film directed by Lee Chung-Hyun, starring Park Shin-Hye and Jeon Jong-Seo. Based on the 2011 British and Puerto Rican film The Caller, The Call revolves around Seo-Yeon (Park Shin-Hye) and Young-sook (Jeon Jong-SEO), two women from different times who connect through a phone call that interchanges their fates. The film was originally going to be released theatrically but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was released on Netflix globally on November 27, 2020.

Dark is a German science fiction thriller television series co-created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. It ran for three seasons from 2017 to 2020. In the aftermath of a child’s disappearance, Dark follows characters from the fictional German town of Winden as they pursue the truth. They follow connections between four estranged families to unravel a sinister time travel conspiracy that spans several generations.
