(Han Solo i know Shirt) In 32 BBY, toward the end of the Galactic Republic, Han was born on the planet Corellia. Later, a Snivvian bounty hunter would spread the myth that Han was in fact a descendent of Prince-Admiral Jonashe Solo, a member of the ancient Corellian royalty. His father Ovan built ships like the YT-1300 light freighters in the Corellian Engineering Corporation shipyards throughout the early years of his life until he was laid off. Although he never had the money, Solo’s father wished he could board one of these ships and flee Corellia.

Han claims he never had a close relationship with his father. The young Han was once taken by his father to the freighter plant where he worked, where he explained to him that while the ships being made there were his contributions to the galaxy, they ultimately had little significance. He told him that his purpose was to sail ships, not manufacture them. His father eventually left him. He eventually ran into the Ithorian Pjolan.
